Round Up Savings

Savings just became easier with our simple and automatic savings program. 1

What is Round Up Savings?

Enroll in Round Up Savings and each time you make a purchase with your debit card, we will automatically round up the purchase to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference to your designated savings account.

Here’s how it works:

In the example shown above, when you purchase groceries for $54.22, the amount is rounded up to $55.00 with $54.22 going to the grocery store and the difference of $0.78 is transferred to your savings account. Savings made simple!

To get started, you will need these three McFarland State Bank products:

Open or identify the account(s) in which you wish the funds to be transferred. Up to five accounts can be selected.

Each McFarland State Bank Debit Mastercard purchase (signature, PIN, swipe and Mobile Wallet transactions) will be included. ATM transactions are not included in this program.

If you make multiple purchases on the same business day, your statement will show one Round Up Savings transfer representing your savings for that day. (above example shows a $2.03 total transfer to savings for the three purchases on one business day)

If more than one account is designated for Round Up Savings, the total transfer will be split equally and each transfer will be shown on the individual account statements.
